Japanese brand Sharp has officially launched its latest smartphone in Taiwan – Sharp AQUOS P1. It is a mid-range smartphone runs on Android OS and supports 4G LTE. Let’s take a look at the specs of Sharp AQUOS P1.
Sharp AQUOS P1 features a 5.30-inches IGZO S-PureLED touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution (FHD), which is sufficient for daily usage. The 5.3-inches display fits into the dimensions that measure at 149 x 73 x 7.6mm and weights at 155g.
For performance-wise, it is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 quad-core processor, which consists of two sets of dual-core processor based on Kyro and Adreno 530 GPU alongside 3GB of RAM memory. The internal storage of Sharp AQUOS P1 is 32GB.
This 5.3-inches device has a 22.6-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for both selfie and video calls. With the supportive LED flash, users are able to capture brighter photos during the night and under low light conditions. Furthermore, the LED flash is can be used as a flash light as well.

The fingerprint sensor of Sharp AQUOS P1 is on the side of the device. Other key features/specs of this smartphone are USB OTG (TBC), 3.5mm audio jack, multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
Regarding its network support, Sharp AQUOS P1 is compatible with multiple LTE network bands. As a result, the device supports at least download speed on 4G of 150Mbps and upload speed on 4G of 50Mbps.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow version is the operating system of Sharp AQUOS P1. As for the battery, it does come with 3,000mAh of battery juice (non-removable).
This Marshmallow flavoured smartphone is available in pink and blue colors while the pricing in Taiwan is TWD 20,990.
